Wontom Poker FAQ

  1. IPAQ 4100 Series and 5500 Series PDAs
We are aware that there are issues with the Bluetooth stack on these devices which will cause the game not to work. In order to fix this issue, please download and install the following files in the \Windows directory of your device:
         BtCoreIf.dll
         BtSdkCE30.dll
DO NOT do this on any other device.

  2. I can't find WontomPoker.CAB on my device!
We are aware that some devices delete the CAB file when they install. If this has happened to you, then simply download WontomPoker.CAB again and copy it back to your device. You can make sure that this is not an issue when transferring by having your friend copy the file once they have received it, and install from the copy. The main copy will still then be available even if the install copy is deleted.

  3. I can't play Poker!
Learn! (Read the strategy guide - this is a great start...)

  4. Is there an install guide?
There is an install guide included with the PC ZIP setup file - but if you don't have that - see it here - Poker_Install_Guide.txt

  5. Do you have a EULA? (End User License Agreement)?
We do - check the file WPEULA.txt for more information. This is included in the PC Setup ZIP.

General FAQ

  1. Where did the name come from?
The name is a derivation of "Wonton Tomorrow", which as many names was being kicked around by the company founders. This one seemed to simply stick.

  2. What devices are compatible with your products?
Currently all handheld devices including PDAs and Smartphones running Windows CE or Windows Mobile with built in Bluetooth capabilities should be able to run our products. If you have a particular model of device that you believe SHOULD be able to run our products, but it does not, then contact our support staff with your details and we will investigate. We are currently extending our product line to support Symbian, and JAVA based devices, as well as PALM OS.

  3. Can I license the technology?
At this stage the technology behind Wontom's products is not available to third parties via licence. We can however build a product for you using our technology - simply.

  4. So how big is Wontom?
Wontom is a very new company, but has been working on technology for approximately 18 months. We expect to have around 10 to 15 staff in the very near future.
